OK-CADP 2021 Virtual Annual Awards Program set for June 5

The 2021 OK-CADP Virtual Annual Awards Program fundraiser will be held Saturday, June 5 at 5 p.m. via Zoom, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is our only major fundraiser held each year to help support the work the Coalition does to abolish the death penalty.

For 2021 our keynote speaker will be Marc Howard, Professor of Government and Law at Georgetown University and Director of the Prisons and Justice Initiative.  Prison educator, author and exonerator, Howard is one of the country’s leading voices and advocates for criminal justice and prison reform.

The event will include the presentation of OK-CADP’s Abolitionist Awards presentations, which include: Jimmy Lawson – Phil Wahl Abolitionist of the Year, Emma Rolls – Opio Toure Courageous Advocate Award, and Leslie Fitzhugh – Lifetime Abolitionist Award.

Tickets for the OK-CADP Virtual Annual Program are $50 for adults, students are $20.  Sponsorships are $400 which include 8 tickets.
