OK-CADP’s 2024 Annual Awards Dinner set for May 18

The 32nd OK-CADP Annual Awards Dinner and Meeting on May 18 will feature Justin Jones, author and former director of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

The 32nd Annual OK-CADP Awards Dinner & Meeting will be held Saturday, May 18 at New Covenant Christian Church, 12000 N. Rockwell, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Registration and a wine reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m., and the program will start at 7 p.m.  The event will also be available via Zoom.

The evening will feature keynote speaker Justin Jones, author and former Director of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

During the program, OK-CADP will honor members of the coalition’s community with the organization’s Abolitionist Awards.

(L-R below) Sue Hosch, OK-CADP Executive Board Member, will be given the Phil Wahl Abolitionist of the Year and Gretchen Garner Mosley, Chief of Capital Trials Division (Tulsa) at the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System (OIDS), will receive the Opio Toure Courageous Advocate Award. Rev. Dr. George E. Young, senior pastor at Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and a retiring state senator will be honored with the  Lifetime Abolitionist Award.

In-Person & Virtual tickets are $75 and Students are $25. Sponsorships/Tables (8 tickets) are $600.
