The State of Oklahoma has scheduled that Richard Eugene Glossip, 52, will be executed by lethal injection at 3 pm, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester. However, lawyers are working tirelessly to present new evidence to the Gov. showing that Richard is an innocent man – thus gaining a stay of execution for 60 days.
If Gov. Fallin does not grant a stay, the public is invited to join the members of OK-CADP as they stand in front of the Governor’s mansion, 820 NE 23 St., on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, beginning at 2:15 pm during the Richard Glossip “Don’t Kill for Me” protest demonstration, which will transition into a silent vigil at the appointed hour of 3 p.m. until death is pronounced. The event will last longer than usual because of the outrage if an innocent man is executed.
