The event will include a cocktail reception, buffet dinner, and program, where we will elect our at-large board members and hold our annual Abolitionist Awards presentation.
Our plans are to invite as our keynote speaker for the 29th Annual Awards Dinner & Meeting Marc Howard, Professor of Government and Law at Georgetown University and Director of the Prisons and Justice Initiative. Prison educator, author and exonerator, Howard is one of the country’s leading voices and advocates for criminal justice and prison reform.
We we present to the same Abolitionist Award honorees as planned for the 2020 event, which include Jimmy Lawson – Phil Wahl Abolitionist of the Year, Emma Rolls – Opio Toure Courageous Advocage Award, and Leslie Fitzhugh – Lifetime Abolitionist Award.
Tickets are $50 for adults and students are $20. Tables for 8 are $400. Purchase tickets below.
