The execution of Julius Darius Jones is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 18 at 4:00 PM.  OK-CADP and others will hold a Demonstration/Protest starting at 3:00 PM across the street from the Governor’s Mansion, 820 NE 23rd Street, (on the north side of 23rd Street).  At the hour of execution (4:00 PM), the event will turn into a Silent Vigil when either a stay of execution is announced or the Capitol Police officer tells us the execution has been carried out.    Please join us.

We are still holding out hope that Gov. Stitt will take the OK Pardon & Parole Board’s recommendation for clemency and commuting his sentence to life with the possibility of parole.
