UPDATE: Oklahoma plans to hold its first double execution in nearly 80 years on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 of Clayton Darrell Lockett and Charles Frederick Warner.
Lockett’s execution is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. and Warner’s is scheduled at 8:00 p.m.
The Oklahoma Supreme Court has ruled that Lockett and Warner are not entitled to know the source of the drugs that will be used to kill them. The inmates had sought that Information through a civil lawsuit. The state Supreme Court also dissolved a stay of execution it had issued earlier in the week.
The public is invited to join the members of OK-CADP as they stand in front of the Governor’s mansion, 820 NE 23 St., on Tuesday, April 29, at 5:15 pm during the Charles Frederick Warner “Don’t Kill for Me” Protest, which will transition into a silent vigil at the appointed hour of 6 pm until death is pronounced.
