OK-CADP’s 2022 Annual Awards Dinner set for August 20

Evangelical activist and author Shane Claiborne will be keynote speaker during the OK-CADP 30th Annual Awards Dinner and Meeting on Saturday, August. 20.

The 30th Annual OK-CADP Awards Dinner & Meeting will be held Saturday, Aug. 20 at the OKC First Church of the Nazarene, 4400 NW Expressway.

In-Person Tickets are SOLD OUT – Virtual Tickets Only Available.

Registration at the in-person event will start at 5:30 p.m.  The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. The event will also be available via Zoom.

Our keynote speaker will be Shane Claiborne, a prominent evangelical speaker, activist, and best-selling author. Shane’s focus today is to end the death penalty and help stop gun violence.

The evening will include the presentation of OK-CADP’s Abolitionist Awards.  Emmy award winning hip hop artist and community activist Jabee Williams will receive the Phil Wahl Abolitionist of the Year award; legendary criminal defense and civil rights attorney and former president of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Garvin Isaacs will be given the Opio Toure Courageous Advocate award;  and former State Senator Connie Johnson will be honored with the Lifetime Abolitionist award.

Tickets for either the In-person or Zoom (Virtual) event are $50 for adults / students are $25.  Sponsorships/Tables are $400, which includes 8 tickets.
